Description

Class 1 Day driver required for 2 to 3 days per week with 1 night out. This run starts 06:00am on a curtain sider vehicle HGV C+E and all the load is palletised and you will be loaded then make a run to Dover but sometimes calling in at Sidcup on the way to make a small drop off which is forklifted off. When reaching Dover the remaining load will be forklifted off and then trailer will be reloaded to come back to the West Midlands and finish. The run normally goes out on a Wednesday and sometimes you can get back in the same day but depends on how quick you get loaded which can make this a night out quite often on the run. The first day you will work a long shift of 15 hrs then night out and get paid 8 hrs on the Thursday for running back in. There is then the option of a day run on Friday for local work providing around 30 to 32 hrs a week. You must hold a valid C+E Class licence for a minimum of 1 year and no more than 6 points for insurance cover. You also must hold a valid CPC card and digital tacho card. Description

Class 1 HGV C+E Day Container Drivers required to work on a Monday to Friday basis starting between 05:00am to 10:00am but some flexibility is required with average daily shifts 10 – 12 hrs. All work is driving a decent fleet of vehicles taking containers to and from various port/dock locations on a semi distance basis and any previous experience of working on containers or driving to the ports / docks  or having any knowledge of working with twist locks is advantageous. Average drops are 2 per shift. You must hold a valid C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points to apply for insurance purposes and you must hold both a valid CPC card and digital tacho card.

This work is 5 days a week and is a Full Time Temp but Long Term with a possibility of permanent positions.

Pay Rate is £18.77 per hour to £21.75 per hour average 50 to 60 hrs per week Working Monday to Friday

Description

Class 1 Day drivers required in Sutton Coldfield area and work is all on Curtain Sider Trailers. This is on a long distance driving basis and would require 1 to 2 nights out in a week as a maximum with average drops 2 to 3 per day. This position is working on a trailer drop and swap basis however some delivery locations can be quite rural so a good area knowledge is paramount. This position is Full Time, temporary ongoing work 5 Days a week and is long term ongoing offering regular work all year round and work will continue in 2026 January and February period as the work does not change in quieter seasons due to the type of products delivered. Average shift is 11.5 to 12 hours working Monday to Friday with the odd optional weekend shift available. You must hold your C+E Licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points on Licence for insurance cover. You must also hold a valid digital tacho card along with a valid CPC Card.

Earnings start from £860 to £970 per week depending on start times and average hrs from 54 to 60 hours per week Monday to Friday.
