3.5 Tonne Flat Bed Pick up van driver required to make multidrop deliveries average of 10 to 20 drops per day working out of West Bromwich area. Majority of the drops will be local throughout west midlands areas however sometimes you will be required to go to on long distance routes based on orders and will have less drops and this will be both down south London area and up north past Manchester Leeds. Start times vary from around 6am to 7am each day and finish by around 4 to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday and average hours are around 44 to 46 hrs per week approx. You must be able to strap down all loads securely using straps provided and this is a must due to the goods you are carrying as loads must be secure. You will also need to be flexible to unload the vehicle as and when you get to destinations some loads can be forklifted off but you will be required to to unload manually as well. You must hold a valid B licence and have no more than 3 points on licence to apply or 6 points as an absolute maximum for insurance cover. This work is a trial and ongoing work 5 days a week but can become permanent position for the right candidate after 3 months trial as a permanent position is available. Start date is 14th March 22 and will be subject to a small induction and the candidate will need to demonstrate on induction that they can strap down the loads securely before going onto the road.
