HGV 1 C+E Day Drivers required to work with a choice of start times from 05:30am to 09:00am starts on box trailers with tail lift working either Monday to Friday or Thursday to Monday rota pattern so this role can include weekend work if preferred. This work is ongoing and the role is delivering to retail parks and towns throughout the West Midlands so some small handball is involved but only pulling cages off the back of the trailer to the back of the bay area. You must hold a valid C+E Licence and hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tacho card to apply. Deliveries are on a Local basis throughout the West Midlands areas and an average of 2 to 3 drop off points per shift. To apply you must have no more than 6 points on licence for insurance cover ideally SP Codes for speeding preferred. Immediate start subject to a paid induction which is around 7 hrs

Pay rate is £19.50 per hour paye and a premium shift payment on weekends of £25 per shift

This position is pulling double decker trailers so any experience is an advantage but not essential but you must hold a valid HGV C+E for a minimum of 12 months and have no more than 3 points on licence with SP Codes only in order to satisfy insurance cover. You will be making regular trunks on a drop and swap basis to the sites in the northern areas so its all semi distance work and it is mainly box trailers but sometimes curtain sider trailers as well so you must be flexible on this. The work is ongoing and long term, full time temp and you will be driving a moderate fleet of vehicles and shifts are averaging at 10 hrs per day. Immediate start subject to a driver induction.

You will be making regular deliveries average of 4 and its all on a semi distance basis and its mainly box trailers but sometimes curtain trailers as well so you must be flexible. This work is ongoing full time temp and you will be driving a moderate fleet of vehicles and shifts are averaging 10 hrs per day. Immediate start subject to induction and assessment.
