TimesheetClass 1 Day driver required for 2 to 3 days per week with 1 night out. This run starts 06:00am on a curtain sider vehicle HGV C+E and all the load is palletised and you will be loaded then make a run to Dover but sometimes calling in at Sidcup on the way to make a small drop off which is forklifted off. When reaching Dover the remaining load will be forklifted off and then trailer will be reloaded to come back to the West Midlands and finish. The run normally goes out on a Wednesday and sometimes you can get back in the same day but depends on how quick you get loaded which can make this a night out quite often on the run. The first day you will work a long shift of 15 hrs then night out and get paid 8 hrs on the Thursday for running back in. There is then the option of a day run on Friday for local work providing around 30 to 32 hrs a week. You must hold a valid C+E Class licence for a minimum of 1 year and no more than 6 points for insurance cover. You also must hold a valid CPC card and digital tacho card.
